1934

Platte City Fire Department Formed
1934

June 2, 1981

Voters approve the formation of the Central Platte Fire Protection District
June 2, 1981

2000

The district acquired a 100-foot Aerial Platform Ladder Truck.
2000

April 4, 2000

Voters approved a Go Bond at 1.5 million to include a 0.07 cents tax levy increase.
April 4, 2000

2007

The district purchased all new self-contained breathing apparatus to use in hazardous environments. Also, in this year the district acquired our first ever fire unit that utilized a compressed air foam system.

2012

Station Two was purchased by the district.
2012

January 19, 2019

On this day, an unthinkable event transpired throughout the district. Board of Directors Paul Regan and Stanley George passed away from unrelated circumstances. The district will be forever grateful for these years of dedication to shape the district to what it is today.

2022

The district replaced all self-contained breathing apparatus that meet the current standards. In addition, to ensure members respiratory safety the district also purchased a quantitative FIT Tester.
